HIgh School Confirmation Year 2

Confirmation Year 2 classes will be offered on
Sundays 12:15 - 2:15 pm
Students must attend Mass on their own each Sunday

The High School Religious education program provides preparation for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation through a two-year program designed to help students make a clear and conscious decision to commit to the teachings of the Catholic Church as well as to prepare them to receive the special Graces that come from this Sacrament.

Students must successfully complete 2-years of High School Confirmation Religious Education Classes in order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

Confirmation Year 2 students must attend in-person classes on Sunday afternoons throughout the 2024-25 academic year.

All candidates must attend Mass on their own each Sunday.

The $50 Registration Fee is required to complete registration process.

- Community Service Requirements
  Confirmation Year 2 Candidates are required to complete 20 hours of Community Service during the Confirmation Year 2 process.
  
  Community Service Opportunity:
  Feeding the hungry is an important work of mercy. Each candidate is required to complete 10 hours of Community Service during the Confirmation Year 1 process. The IC Confirmation program will participate in CROP Walk 2024. The main goal of CROP Walk is to feed the hungry throughout the world. And with Crop Walk, 25% of all funds raised in Las Vegas stays right here to help support our local soup kitchens and homeless shelter.
  
  Participants will receive one hour for every $50 raised, as well as an additional 4 hours for walking with us in an effort to raise awareness of hunger within our local community.
  
  We recommend that candidates take advantage of this community service opportunity.
